I Went to Forrest Frank’s Jesus Generation Tour: Here’s What It Was Really Like

Who doesn't know this one of the most popular Christian artists in the world, Forrest Frank? Known for his songs such as Up, Good Day, and Your Way's Better, Forrest Frank is super popular right now, especially among younger people. I still remember when he was still with his duo, Surfaces, with their hit song, Sunday Best (it was a long time ago in early 2019), and I followed his Twitter to keep up with their new songs.

Long story short, my husband and I have been listening to his songs for a few years, and he surprised me by getting us tickets to Forrest Frank's Jesus Generation Tour in St. Louis. I was beyond excited, of course! First, I had really never been to a concert with a huge capacity. Second, I've been a huge fan of Forrest Frank's music (I mean, I know almost all of his songs!). Third, I got to watch the concert with my husband, such a blessing!

We arrived at Enterprise Center around 5 PM, and it was already packed with people waiting in line. We missed out on getting wristbands—since you have to arrive early in the morning, which wasn't feasible for us living in another city. Despite the long queue, getting into the building went pretty quickly, and we checked out the photo booth, concessions, and merch. The show started exactly at 7 PM with the performance of Tori Kelly, she has a very beautiful voice! Forrest Frank literally showed up around 8.30 PM with his newest song, The Jesus Generation.

He sang a lot of his songs, including Amen, Celebration, Somebody Prayed, Thankful, and of course, Good Day and Your Way's Better. During the performance of God is Good, he invited a young girl to rap together with him, she's very cool (check out my video next!). After the performance, the young girl requested a prayer for her mom because right now she's dealing with breast cancer. Forrest ended up coming to her mom, and we all prayed for her healing. Such a beautiful moment!

In the middle of the concert, Cory Asbury appeared as the guest star, singing all the Christian hits too, such as Goodness of Good, Worthy of It All, Amazing Grace, and Reckless Love. It's amazing how the concert suddenly turned into a worship moment. Forrest performed until around 10 PM and closed the concert with another hit song, Lemonade (with The Fig) and Never Get Used To This.

I didn't expect the concert to be that perfect! I truly enjoyed it from beginning to end. The audience was super nice, too. I tried to take a selfie with my husband, and some people offered to take pictures for us. It was such an unforgettable experience—not just because of the artist, but because of how God can use him to bless so many people, especially the younger generation.
