[REVIEW] The Viral Korean Lip Oil - nooni Appleberry and Applecherry
Wednesday, August 19, 2026Have you ever tried a lip product that claims to be completely transfer-proof, only for it to end up everywhere anyway? I FEEL YOU! That’s why whenever I find something that actually works, I stick with it. This time, I want to talk about nooni, the viral Korean lip oil everyone’s been obsessing over lately. Is it just another trendy lip oil, or does it actually stay put? Let’s dive in!
WHAT IT IS:
nooni is a K-beauty brand known for delivering high-shine, non-stick hydration with a subtle tint. It's formulated with botanical oils, and it comes in 16 different shades (6 new shades). Each shade has their own benefits depending on our lip concern.
PACKAGING:
It’s a petite clear tube featuring a soft brush applicator, with the shade name on the lid. It includes safety seals on both the outer box and the lip oil itself.
TEXTURE:
Lightweight, non-sticky, smooth texture with a glossy finish.
RESULT:
I chose Appleberry and Applecherry on purpose because I was looking for a tinted lip oil. When I first applied it, the color looked subtle, but it quickly deepened thanks to its pH-adjusting formula. Just 1 to 2 swipes gave me long-lasting color that stayed on all day. While the glossy finish eventually fades, the stain stays put, and it’s completely transfer-proof! I’ve tested it while eating and drinking multiple times, and the color never budges.
Appleberry gives a bright, warm-toned red finish, while Applecherry is a bright, cool-toned pink. Both are super hydrating, and Applecherry adds a gorgeous plumping effect!
PROS:
- The lip oil is safely secured inside its packaging
- Lightweight, non-sticky, smooth texture
- It has 16 shades with different benefits
- Economical
- Transferproof
- Long-lasting color
- Very hydrating
- Natural look, perfect for every occasion
CONS:
- Only comes in one size (0.12 fl)
Now I understand why this lip oil has become viral, they really understand their customers' needs! I've been wearing this lip oil every day now. So, if you have the same issue as me, I highly recommend this lip oil for you to try!
