How to Style Luxury Outfits for Petite Frames

Since moving to the United States, I have struggled with clothes shopping. Most of the clothes here are cute, but oftentimes when I try them on, the fit is just not right for me. I have a petite frame (5'1"), so most of the pants are too long and sometimes the tops are just not the right size. I know it's not a big deal because I can always wear something oversized, but I really love a preppy style—so this situation is a challenge for me.

One day, I found this brand on Instagram, a.shimus, a Japanese-owned brand based in New York. I had a chance to chat with the founder, and implicitly her struggle is the same as mine. What impressed me most is how precise the cutting is and the high-quality materials she uses for every collection. I am really impressed by how much this brand cares about solving customers' problems. I also love how versatile the pieces are to wear for any occasion.

How fabulous that you were able to find a brand that works for you! It can be so frustrating when the fit is not quite right.
